Let's Meet Our Speakers:

Bryan Rife

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bryan Rife, CEO of Sparkle Success, has over 27 years in the healthcare arena and holds a Life Coach Certification through the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology and is nationally certified as an Activity Director with a specialization in education through the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals.  He is also a Licensed Montessori Home Engagement Certification Instructor and also teaches the standardized MEAP 1 course through NCCAP.  

Bryan has previously served on the boards of the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals in Washington, DC and the Coalition of Activity Professionals in North Carolina.  He is a former instructor for the North Carolina state approved Activity Director course and has been successful in writing a grant from CMS.

Bryan has traveled the country presenting at many different healthcare conferences and workshops as a keynote speaker.  He also co-presented for the CCME in various cities across the state of North Carolina.  Currently, he works as a Life Coach, Consultant and is also assisting several organizations with various projects.

 

 

Shane Elks is a Licensed Interfaith Community Chaplain. He is the founder and Executive Director of Black Star Theater Company and the creator and former Director of the Creative Arts Department at the Cyzner Institute of Charlotte.

As a Certified Sound Therapist, Registered Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, and a member of the International Alliance of Holistic Therapists, Shane travels to National Health Care Conferences as a key note speaker and consultant in the Therapeutic Arts and Behavioral Health.

Shane Elks is a Licensed Instructor and Curriculum Consultant for the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals. He is a graduate of CLI Seminary, The American Music and Dramatics Academy and The British Centre of Excellence. Shane has also studied with Vocal Masters from The Juilliard School of Music Advancement Program and The Metropolitan Opera Guild. His years as a performer in Musical Theatre, Jazz, and Opera have fueled his passion to share the performing arts with his community.

Shane has worked in the Expressive  and Healing Arts for over a decade. He has worked with clients in assisted living, rehabilitation, memory care, early childhood, primary, and advanced grades. Shane is passionate about using the arts to educate, engage, and entertain the community. His belief in person centered care drives his efforts as a practitioner and an educator.
